What
happens at
KBWomen Mastermind Group meetings? Our groups are
Christian women in business who meet monthly to "mastermind." Group
meetings last 90 minutes and help women in business to:
-
Learn from the experience and wisdom of others, while sharing
their own.
-
Brainstorm, problem solve and collaborate with other business
women who are passionate about what they do.
-
Practice presentations, get new ideas and learn new skills.
-
Have amazing Christian fellowship with a specific purpose!
-
The
opportunity to meet, build relationships, network with and refer
business to other
like-minded women of God.
-
Process ideas, problems and other situations with people who can
help.
-
Enjoy a
fun, friendly learning environment, that includes opening and
closing meetings with
prayer.
Who can attend KBWomen Mastermind Group meetings? Are meetings for members only?
KBWA
Members (levels 2 & 3) are official Mastermind Group members and attend free, although all
non-member Christian women in business are welcome and encouraged to attend
as a guest (see fee
information below). Business owners, those who run non-profits,
authors and speakers, coaches and consultants, independent agents, or other
entrepreneurial people will get the most benefit out of what our
mastermind group
meetings have to offer.
Although our
target market is Christian women in business, Christian men in
business are welcome to join if they would like to.
Is there a fee associated with
KBWomen Mastermind Group meetings? Yes - Business women who
want to join a Mastermind Group can either become Members of KBWA (the
Koinonia Business Women's Association) or pay a per-meeting fee. We
encourage businesswomen to become official Members of KBWA, as there are
many great benefits of doing so, one of which is belonging to a
Mastermind Group.
Membership Details
-
Members
(membership levels 2 & 3) of the Koinonia Business
Women's Association (KBWA) attend free.
-
Non-members (or KBWA Level 1
Members) who would like to attend meetings can do so for $30 per
meeting.
-
Non-members (or KBWA Level 1
Members) who are visiting a chapter for the first time can come for
$10.
Is there a Mastermind Group in my area? What if there isn't yet?
Each open group has its own page on KBWomen.com,
including the leader’s profile, bio and contact information. Please visit our
KBWomen Groups page for location details. If there isn't a meeting in your area
yet, please consider letting other women know about this opportunity.
You may know someone who would enjoy starting/leading a Mastermind Group. If you are, or
someone you know may be, potentially interested in chapter leadership,
visit our Mastermind Group Leader FAQ page HERE to
learn more.
If there is no local group meeting
in your area yet, you can choose to participate in KBWA's virtual mastermind
call (via phone) by becoming a Level 1 KBWA Member.
When does my local KBWomen group
meet? Mastermind Group Leaders have the opportunity to select their
group’s meeting
day, time
(morning, mid-day or evening) and location. Each chapter has its own page on KBWomen.com, including the location, time and leader's contact info.
Please visit our KBWomen Groups page for meeting time details.
(More locations are coming soon)
What should I bring with me to
Mastermind meetings? Please bring note-taking items, business
cards, brochures or fliers, a smile, and a mind ready to
learn and contribute. Depending on your chapter’s meeting location, you
may want to bring yourself a water bottle, coffee, etc. Also, be
prepared with a quick, 1-minute introduction of yourself and your
business to share with the group if there are new attendees! Feel free to also bring a friend
or business contact. First time visitors can attend for $10.
How do I become a KBWomen Mastermind Group Leader?
Visit the
Group Leader FAQ Page. If you would like to open
a KBWomen Group in your local area, we have an application
process. Start HERE for step 1 of that process. The next step is
receiving our full application. Fill this out and email it back to
us at questions@kbwomen.com
when completed. If your application is accepted (this may take
several business days), we will personally call you to discuss this
further. Our goal is to set up a win-win-win situation for all
involved (You, the organization as a whole and the women who will be
served). Mastermind Leaders play a vital role in our
organization, and we strive to wisely select our leaders.
Can I
join even if I’m not sure I’m officially a Christian? Sure
– Just be aware and embrace the fact that we are a faith-based organization and we freely
speak about God, the Bible, prayer, and other spiritual topics and how
they relate to business. We'd love to have you join us, and you are
welcome.
FYI -
By
Christian, we mean those who profess a Bible-based faith, and believe in
Jesus as God's only Son and Savior of the world. Koinonia Business Women
is a non-denominational organization.
