Here Are Some Fun Pictures Taken at Our Faith Board - Vision Board Workshop on January 20th:

Christian Businesswomen's "Faith Board" & 2009 Goals Creation Event

Would you like a Faith Board /Vision Board workshop for your group or organization? Please contact Krista or Tammy today for more information - questions@kbwomen.com

These were the pre-workshop instructions for our group meeting:

You've probably heard of vision boards, dream boards and posting your goals before. Koinonia Business Women has given that concept a new twist - "Faith Boards"!  What are you believing God for in 2009? As a Christian woman, categories might include your family, your career or business, travel, health & wellness, learning or skill building, spiritual growth, etc. Please read the 'featured articles' in *BLING*'s December edition and in the new January edition for more information about why having a faith board is beneficial. Our Blog also has informational faith board posts.

What you should bring to create your own faith board:
1.
Something to make your 'board' with (the backing), e.g. poster board, piece of uncut picture matting, cork board, magnet board, bulletin board, piece of cardboard with fabric adhered on the front, piece of large card stock, get creative! Doesn't matter what size - you decide what works best for you. Krista's example faith board is approx. 2'X2.5'.

2. Pictures of your family, images, inspirational magazine cuttings, extra magazines, etc. - Any images and photos that will help you visualize your goals and dreams. Scrapbooking supplies or stickers could be fun to bring too if you have any.

3. Scissors, tacks/glue/magnets (depending on what your board's backing is) to attach things, pens, glitter, or other practical items.

4. Your 2009 Goals & Dreams. Be thinking ahead in preparation for this "faith board" project. It will be fun and worthwhile! Get your vision down so it's set before you. Walt Disney said, "If you can DREAM it, you can DO it."

If you'd like to attend the meeting without creating an entire faith board project of your own, come anyway. It will be a good opportunity to set some goals, dreams, and get your faith down on paper for 2009.
