frequently asked questions:
Who can participate in Koinonia
Business Women's Mastermind Groups? Christian women who are
entrepreneurs, business owners, authors, speakers,
consultants, independent agents, and/or professional women/executives.
Our mastermind groups are for faith-based women in business who are
serious and passionate about what they do and the work God has called
them to.
Although we market our organization to women, we welcome Christian men
in business if they desire to join as well.
What does “Mastermind” mean?
This is our definition of
masterminding – To share our depth and richness in join
participation, bringing ideas, strategies, experience, wisdom,
resources, encouragement, collaboration, and problem solving skills to share for
the mutual benefit of all. It’s helping each other solve problems,
get ideas and create strategies for success. It is a high level
brainstorming or "think tank" environment with faith in God as our
foundation. By ourselves, we do not
have all the answers. When we come together, we can serve as a board
of advisors for each other. “In a multitude of counselors, there
is safety.”
At KBWomen's Mastermind
Groups, business women meet together, once a month, in local cities.
There is a wonderful synergy that happens when like-minded ladies meet together in person!
Our Mastermind
Chapters are specifically for Godly small business owners
& entrepreneurs. Group members and facilitators
together form a team environment by guiding each other,
recommending resources and sharing knowledge, ideas,
strategizing, expertise, encouragement, and past experiences. The two main
facets of this group are:
-
Practical: Through
brainstorming, feedback, discussion, sharing, teaching, and interaction,
members will gain valuable ideas, skills, and strategies
related to marketing, establishing and growing an
internet presence, goal setting, PR, systems, time
management, problem solving, overcoming fear, action
planning, etc., to positively impact their specific business.
-
Relational: Supporting and
being supported by like-minded business owners in a
safe, confidential environment. In a team atmosphere, we
are partnering with others for the benefit of
all.
Why should I join a mastermind
group ?
How can it help me?
Mastermind groups
provide a powerful community and an environment of support for business
people. The added benefit of KBWomen's mastermind groups, is that
participants there share the foundation of faith in God. When people
of God understand purpose, calling and God-ordained work,
collaboration goes to whole other level! Mastermind groups can help
participants to:
-
Get marketing ideas

What does it mean to take turns
being "In the Spotlight?" Each month, two Mastermind
Group Members at each meeting will take their turn in the spotlight,
meaning they get to bring questions, ideas, issues, and problems to be
potentially solved to the group. Other participants give their feedback,
share experiences and wisdom, match known resources to needs, offer new
ideas, and help the Members in the spotlight move forward, get unstuck,
make decisions and/or formulate plans.
How much does it cost to participate in a KBWomen Mastermind Group?

How do KBWomen Mastermind Groups fit into the vision for your
organization? The very definition of the word "Koinonia"
means, “To be in fellowship with God and
with like-minded believers. Sharing our depth and richness in joint
participation.” Mastermind groups fit perfectly into our organization’s purpose
and vision! They give participants the opportunity to collaborate
and grow, as they both receive, and contribute.
