We are fresh back from a wonderful trip to Las Vegas for a business conference called SHINE. It was an extraordinary event done with excellence, and we came home with a wealth of ideas and information. Now it is time to implement our new learning and ideas. No time to waste! Over the last several weeks, Krista and I have been looking at our business model, talking about our unique giftings and our heart motives. We have been talking a lot about where we want to see KBWomen go and grow to as well. Many of our thoughts and conversations have turned toward you, the very women that have helped to expand this 'businestry' into what it is today. As with most work that is done with introspect and thoughtful collaboration, we have come up with some clear changes and course corrections. Our whole organization, including our umbrella corporation - Koinonia Ministries International - will be taking on a new face and some much needed changes. Starting today, I will be taking a more secondary role in the day-to-day operation of KBWomen. As you know, I have my own business as an Executive Leadership Team Coach, Business Growth Strategist and Speaker. My business was never to be second place to KBWomen, and over the past 18 months, it has been very difficult to juggle all the necessary responsibilities for both. I don't want to see either suffer, and I want to see my commitment to excellence honored as well. To do that, it is best to reduce my role with KBWomen and turn over the operations to Krista. Her heart and vision for the direction of KBWomen has been a driving force for what has been accomplished so far, and I feel it is best to step out of her way (so-to-speak). The role that I will continue to play in KBWomen and Koinonia Ministries is that of lead facilitator/coach with the Living Your Vision Retreat. This is an anchor offering for the organization and one that I am very passionate about, as it was the catalyst for my personal transformation several years ago. Krista will run the groups system, as well as the daily operations. Looking to the future, there are several new projects on the table (details of which are still in process) which I will also be involved with. We expect to release those details in early 2010, and look forward to sharing those with you for your growth and "up-leveling" (a new term we learned this week). There are exciting things to come, and we thank you for your support, love and commitment. It is because of the honor of serving you that we continue to grow and reach for more with KBWomen.
